We are now able to offer appointments for some of our treatments

Restrictions have been somewhat lifted and we can now offer non-contact treatments and contact treatment using PPE.  

There will be some changes in the process both before and during each session, to help ensure both yours and our safety (see below). All changes are being made with the aim of keeping you safe whilst maintaining social distancing and minimal contact.  We will all be wearing PPE and we would request that you wear a face mask and please wait outside until your therapist is free. Further details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Changes in Practice Due to COVID-19

In keeping with the Government Guidelines for Covid-19 safe practice we ask you to please consider the following before attending your appointment.

  • Before you leave your home, please check your temperature, and consider if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms. If it is yes to this or anything listed below, please postpone or cancel your appointment. You will not be charged.

First-time clients: Your pre-session consultation will now take place via the phone or video-conferencing – rather than face to face. And/or a consultation form emailed for completion prior to the visit.

Existing clients: There will be a short update consultation – to see how you have been since lockdown and whether you have any Covid-19 issues. This will also be via phone or video conferencing. We will go through with you a form regarding consent and exposure to Covid-19, to ascertain if you are considered a high-risk client; it may not be possible to treat you at this time.

All consultation and consent documents can be signed and brought on the day or e-mailed beforehand. Please bring your own pen if you need one.

If you wish to bring your own water please do – disposable cups will be available if not.

On arrival,

  • please wait outside or in your car until we come for you.
  • Leave all unnecessary belongings in your car.
  • You will be required to wear your own mask, or we can provide one.
  • we will offer you a squirt of hand gel, if you do not want this then you will be required to wash your hands (drying them with paper towels) – please touch as little as possible.

We will also take your temperature using an infrared thermometer.

The soft furnishings in the treatment room will be covered by couch roll. Cushions and soft furnishings have been removed, covered with vinyl or will be changed between clients.

The main treatment couch will have been thoroughly disinfected. The linens will be changed between clients for new, and you will be encouraged to wear a mask throughout your stay.

We will be using personal protective equipment (PPE) – until the requirement relaxes. Where aprons are used these will be changed between clients, gloves will be worn where / if required necessary. Being massaged in gloves is not unpleasant – you will barely feel the difference.

At the end of your treatment, please leave all the linens, towels & paper towel on the couch. You may also wish to use the bathroom and wash your hands before you put your shoes back on.

Payment ideally should be made prior to the appointment via Direct Transfer or PayPal to avoid touching card machines or money.

We have allowed a 30-minute gap between clients, to allow time for cleaning of the treatment space, couch, equipment, toilet, reception etc., and enough time to air the rooms thoroughly.
